The European Connection

As artists we share some of the same fears
and one of them is auditioning.

Through this workshop and booklet, I hope to help you turn your fears into excitement for auditioning by providing you with proper skills and knowledge that will give you the confidence to know you are special and one of a kind.

There is no competition only you doing your best and sharing the gift you were given by God.

We are all individuals with our own unique qualities that no one else has. Even if there are over 1000 people at the audition you could still get the job.
Never forget this.
As Debbie O‘Brien (Casting Director - London)
says „Those few minutes you are in there the role is yours“
All you need to do is be prepared and do the best that you can do
on that day. Nothing more nothing less.

Please send us your audition pieces you wish to work on in the
workshop - 2 songs (1 Uptempo, 1 Ballad) and 1 short monologue.
You will be singing 16 bars from each song.

Our workshop strives to cultivate and bring out the best of what you have. We will also inform you about procedures in auditions that will help you better understand the process.

A.I.S. Workshops will focus on the Art, Spirit, & Business of Auditioning hoping to maintain and create Triple Threats

As an artist, auditions are something you should enjoy and look forward to.

In our A.I.S. Workshop handbook you can read at your leisure to remind you of the points covered in the Workshop so you will always have a brush up before each audition.

I also hope in my lifetime that I can help dancers stop smoking. I truly believe that it will definitely benefit them in the long run concerning their lives and careers.

No smoking will be allowed in the workshops or building.
This is a start.

Always In Spirit,
Janet Tyler
